To 15 minute walk from the Lodge brings you to El Valle, a small settlement of Afro Colombian, indigenous and mestiza fishermen and handicraftsmen who all live together in harmony. When you visit this settlement you will be amazed at the joy, hospitality, and the respect of the people. You can feel the strength, rhythm, and intensity of the dark skin, as well as the ingenuity and ancestral wisdom of the Embera indigenous group.
